Patent LitigationAs a professional who brings experience and perspective from both sides of the patent law table, Eric Neitzke has extensive experience in licensing and enforcing intellectual property.

For more than 15 years, Mr. Neitzke served as a patent and trade secret litigation specialist for an intellectual property firm. While there he worked through extensive litigation between major corporations, many of which are household names.

Following his time in private practice, Mr. Neitzke joined Harris, a Fortune 200 Corporation in Melbourne, Florida. As the Corporate Vice President of Litigation, Eric was responsible for all legal disputes in which the company was involved. During this period, Eric negotiated significant patent licenses, and was responsible for an appeal which resulted in the reversal of a one hundred million dollar judgment against Harris.

Eric founded Enpat Inc. in 1995. Enpat has assisted individual inventors by licensing and in some instances selling their patents to major and small corporations.

Eric earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Jurist Doctorate from Georgetown University.

Mr. Neitzke is a member of the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Florida Bar associations. He is a registered patent attorney and a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, Etta Kappa Nu, and Tau Beta Pi. He is the author of A Software Law Primer, published by Van Nostrand in 1983.
