Headline 2Pursuant to the provisions of the United States Constitution, Congress has passed the current patent statue “…To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries.” The costs of obtaining a patent can represent a significant hurdle for individual inventors or small companies. But these costs are miniscule compared to the cost of enforcing a patent in court against infringers.  Enpat was founded in 1995 to help the small inventor profit from his invention. Non-exclusive license under U.S. patent number 5,548,506 and corresponding reissue patent number RE 38,633 entitled Automated Electronic Network Based, Project Management Server System.

 
Primavera:
Non-exclusive license under U.S. patent numbers 5,548,506 and RE 38,633 listed above. (The reissue patent resulted from a patent application prosecuted by Enpat’s counsel to correct deficiencies in the original patent claims.)
 
Rockwell Automation, ABB and Siemens:
Non-exclusive licenses under U.S. patent number 5,238,726 entitled AC Line Current Controller Utilizing Line Connected Inductance and DC Voltage Component.
 

 

Following Patents

United States patent number 5,735,742 entitled Gaming Table Tracking System and Method and United States patent number 5,651,548 entitled Gaming Chips with Electronic Circuits Scanned by Antennas in Gaming Chip Placement Areas for Tracking the Movement of Gaming Chips Within a Casino Apparatus and Method.

Enpat granted an exclusive field of use license to Gaming Partners International Corporation in 2001, and a different non-exclusive field of use license to Progressive Gaming International in 2002.

Enpat sold the two patents and Enpat's license rights to Shuffle Master Inc. for 12.5 million dollars in 2004. The patent owners received more than eight million dollars from the revenues that Enpat received for licensing and sale of these two patents.
